Each year, many volunteers and businesses come together for the children treated at Norton Children’s Hospital by supporting the Children’s Hospital Foundation through our fundraising events. In March 2019, we held the fifth annual Dance Big Red, the student led dance event raised over $71,000 for NortonChildren’s Hospital. Nearly 900 Western Kentucky University students solicited pledges to stay up all night and dance along with faculty and friends of WKU and Norton Children's. The response was overwhelming from the community and students. The students have a set a new goal to raise $75,000 in support of pediatric cardiology and adolescent cancer and register 1000 dancers.
